Job Summary:

This is a key role within the Global Quality function, where you will drive and lead multiple project activities throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints. The Quality Services Program Manager – Biocompatibility will be responsible for the development and execution of the established cleanroom and controlled environments across Convatec, including the projects and programs for the organization relating to manufacturing environments.

You will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the program is completed on time and within budget and serve as a liaison between key stakeholders and the Subject Matter Expert direct reports working at the manufacturing site.

About the Role:

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.

  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.

  • Apply change, risk and resource management.

  • Resolve projects’ delays or compliance issues with the BU SME.

  • Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction and team member performance.

  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.

  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

  • Analyze program risk and ensure document approval is done properly.

About You:

The Ideal Candidate should bring the following qualities to the role:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations and program management is required.

  • Leadership skills: Skilled Communicator, Influential, Action Planner, Self-Motivated, Implementer, Driver.

  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.

  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.

  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office programs knowledge (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) with emphasis on Teams Project management program and interface.

  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers, external customers, and leaders.

  • Ability to manage various teams at locations across the globe.

Travel Requirements

Position may involve travel up to 25% of the time, mostly within Europe but overseas travel is expected. Most trips will include overnight travel.

Education/Qualifications

Engineer degree in the Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial, or equivalent. Microbiology, Biology, or science-based degree is preferred. Master’s Degree is a plus.

Project Management training, certifications, or 5+ years’ practical experience.

Working Conditions:

Remote working ng (2-3 days onsite required; contingent on needs of the business)
