ConvaTec Associate Territory Manager - Acute - Advanced Wound Care - Chicago/Indianapolis Region in Indianapolis, Indiana

The Associate Territory Manager – Acute role in the Advanced Wound, Skin Care, Continence & Critical Care Franchise will have a sales support focus with goals aligned to drive market development as well as support clinical/distributor/GPO relationships. The ATM will be held accountable to delivering exceptional service through the execution of team driven directives, a combination of in-servicing and execution of new business opportunities that clearly reflect the company’s strategy and priorities.

Primary responsibilities include utilizing solution selling, account management, and business planning capabilities to execute our strategies to maximize coverage within the assigned geography. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager who will supply direction and leadership to Franchise priorities and individual development. The ATM will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of first in class products as well as coordinating/conducting in-services, troubleshooting, assisting with conferences, and other tasks identified by management. Incumbent must demonstrate the ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment, align with and influence internal and external stakeholders, and build/manage relationships at all levels of an organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and provide support through routine visits, educational programs, product demonstrations and coordinating/conducting in-services

  • Individual will assist the Territory Managers in coordinating and monitoring product evaluations as determined by the Regional Sales Manager or Territory Managers

  • Increase knowledge base through attendance of educational programs / seminars / conferences; reading journals and participating in committee or group programs

  • Position will have access to sales analytics reports to assist with targeting and pipeline management

  • May assist in preparing for large meetings, as identified by the Regional Sales Manager, including creating presentations, preparing sample packs and literature, and assist in the actual meeting

  • Will assist Regional Sales Manager with certain cross references and pricing analyses

  • ATMs will follow the same training curriculum as a Territory Manager. Thorough training will allow individual to make fluent and effective presentations of all the division’s products.

Requirements

  • Education

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree

  • Travel

  • Ability to travel 75% as necessary, to include overnight and/or weekends

  • A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record

  • Must be flexible to regional relocation within 24 months of employment
