Join us as Supply Chain Manager and you’ll do the same.About the role: You’ll be the driving force behind our effective and dynamic Procurement function. With your expert Procurement knowledge, you’ll ensure both internal and external stakeholder expectations and requirements are met, whilst managing the daily operations to ensure a dependable and efficient supply for Amcare.
Your key duties and responsibilities:
Approach daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets
Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Amcare’s overall direction
Understand, report and improve necessary KPI’s
Identify and drive improvement of processes, tools, and information systems to enable World Class Customer Service
Maintain processes and procedures
Mitigate supplier constraints by collaborating with functional stakeholders
Analyse operational trends and develop corrective action plans
Address supply chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability; escalate as appropriate
Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning
Key Skills required:

Supply Chain Knowledge: Understands completely the role of each function in the Supply Chain and how their Key Performance Indicators support the needs of our end customers. Has been a leader in Supply Chain functions and led cross-functional teams to drive improvements in the Supply Chain.
Analytical Reasoning: Has an advanced understanding of analytical methodologies and the ability to utilise various statistical methodologies. Has the ability to break down data and information in meaningful ways and is also to make connections and analyse data and information from multiple sources. Formulates logical arguments, roots the arguments in data and information, provides sound data to support the conclusions and is able to provide alternative suggestions for additional research and/or data. Works with key stakeholders to determine analytical requirements. Is able to articulate conclusions to business partners and explain the thought processes and methodologies used to draw the conclusion. Provides recommendations for business actions based on the conclusions drawn from analytical analysis in a way that is meaningful to stakeholders.
Materials Agreement Knowledge: Have developed materials agreements with several suppliers with limited support.
Demand Forecasting Concepts and Processes: Understands forecasting concepts and processes. Have participated in the forecasting process and demonstrated an understanding of how to apply demand forecasting concepts and strategies to optimise our ability to meet our customer’s expectations and make decisions that demonstrate support of the business as a whole.
Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) Concepts: Can explain the E-commerce options available and how it impacts their function.
Inventory Control Management: Understand inventory control and management principals across the supply chain and have put in strategies that affect local and global inventory management. Determined inventory management processes to meet strategic plans.
Supplier Performance Management: Understands functional roles and responsibilities requisite to appropriately manage supplier performance and I fulfill my responsibilities; I ensure suppliers understand their performance deficiencies and Amcare expectations relative to continuous improvement.
Supplier Relationship Management: Understands the need for effective supplier relationships. Manages supplier relationships and ensures that internal stakeholders and suppliers effectively resolve issues. Leads planning discussions with suppliers to ensure that they are capable of meeting both current and future needs of Amcare.
Supplier Capacity Management: Understands the communication and management processes that must be in place to ensure suppliers have appropriate capacity in place. Can communicate effectively with suppliers concerning specific demand that is likely to be placed on them.
Project Management: User proficiency level plus proficient in the application of Project Management principles and practices in a wide range of work situations. This person is capable of effectively managing projects with little to no guidance.
Logistics Knowledge: Understands that we have logistics requirements to move product from suppliers to Amcare then to our customers.
