ConvaTec Warehouse Assistant in Sunderland, United Kingdom
Job Summary
To pick and pack clients orders ensure compliance with clients requirements and work to standards set out by the company and department of Health regulations
Duties and Responsibilities
To work as part of a team carrying out all aspects of work relating to picking and packing of products as per clients requirements:
Works to agreed performance targets and standards.
Picking & packing orders using from a picking list for clients.
Sorting out order queries with customer service teams, supply chain department and/or Inside Sales team.
Inputting information on computer, using A PO number, re-stacking shelves, making and handling enquiries from purchasing, suppliers etc.
Making up of homepacks to supply to hospitals
Ensures adherence to the Companies quality and EHS standards and Policies to quality management standards and procedures including EHS policy and procedures.
Works efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
Cleaning and tidying of warehouse and the equipment and working areas required.
To perform any reasonable request from Supervisor including providing cover in other departments when required.

Internal: Members of immediate work team, Purchasing, Administration, Warehouse team, & all NDC management
External: Amcare Care Centres, ConvaTec Administration, EHS, Quality management.

Person Profile
Must Have:
Secondary Education must have been completed.
Experience in the same or similar working environment would be an advantage and dexterity essential, basic computer skills and bar code systems
Numerate & literate
Ability to follow instructionsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team
Flexible & adaptable in approach to work in line with business needs.
Working Conditions
Must be able to maintain and be responsible for a clean and safe working environment complying with the companies EHS policy, where appropriate safety shoes/boots, hats and clothing must be worn.
Special Factors
Must be flexible in working hours and work schedules to meet business demands.
