The primary purpose of this role is to develop and manage non-financial information data reporting processes for Convatec and play a key role in supporting the assurance processes.
The role will be supported by stakeholders who are responsible for different aspects of our ESG agenda across the company.

Sitting at the heart of the integrity of our non-financial information and ESG data reporting, Convatec’s ESG external and stakeholder reporting, processes and controls, play a key role in ensuring stakeholder confidence.
Key responsibilities
Review non-financial data requirements and develop, with support from the SMEs, robust, repeatable, and auditable processes to generate the data and non-financial information efficiently, leveraging the financial and other data already available where possible.
Develop and update process documentation for these processes. Ensure reporting tasks are performed in line with the defined processes, standard operating procedures and work instructions – developing these where they do not exist.
Act as the reporting specialist for relevant data, with technical support from the ESG topical SMEs
Work closely with the Internal Control team to develop and execute robust controls over the processes to collate, calculate and report data
Co-ordinate auditors through the reporting cycle on non-financial information and ESG data
Liaise with the SAP team to understand the opportunities to automate the collation, calculation and consolidation of ESG data post implementation.
Escalate issues and concerns to RTR Team Lead/Consolidation Manager and RTR Tower Lead and/or ESG topic leads as appropriate and propose remediating actions
Liaise with the Convatec Group ESG manager, within the Global Affairs team, to understand the ESG governance, programmes and disclosures approach.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceKnowledge of Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage
Strong communication skills – effectively communicating key data, including presentations to management
Mature attitude towards challenge and problem solving - able to work autonomously, manage ambiguity and pressure effectively, cope well with setbacks and challenge
Keen analytical skills – being able to understand data and systems
Continuous improvement mindset
Hands-on personality, sound understanding of key business processes
Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-study/research needed to execute the same
Team player
Curiosity/passion for ESG matters
Qualifications/Education
Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
Additional accounting certification is a plus
